1960s 70s fine green turquoise sterling silver Native American cuff bracelet

This vintage 1960s to 70s Navajo sterling silver cuff bracelet has a beautiful green natural turquoise stone and a fancy stamped split shank. The gemologist-verified stone has a nice soft green color to it with some of its natural characteristics, such as matrix veins and other mineral deposits exhibited. Due to these natural occurences, there is some color variations to the stone from light green, to darker green, to blues, to yellow, etc.

The bezel-set stone measures approx. 25mm x 20mm and is mounted on a split shank with lots of stamped detail. The metal tested as sterling silver (no hallmark). The total inner circumference measures approx. This cuff has some flex to it, but because of the vintage worn nature of this piece I would use caution when fitting the bracelet.

Please see detailed measurements below. On one side the two outer parts of the shank look like they may have old repairs from possible splitting; this causes a little bit of an irregularity in the design. The silver has vintage patina and vintage wear, such as fine scratches. The stone has a fine hairline crack near one of the corners, but is firmly fixed in its setting.

It's probably been there for a very long time. The aged qualites only give this piece more character.

Overall this is a very nice vintage piece. Tip to tip : 5 7/8 inches.

Total inner circumference : 7 inches. Right to left center of the bracelet opening : 2 7/16 inches. Widest Point: 1 1/8 inches. Condition: good vintage condition with vintage patina; hairline crack in the stone near one corner, scratches to the surface of the stone; fine scratches to the silver; possible old repairs on 2 of the pieces of the split shank, causing irregularity in design. 100 % of the items I sell are pre-owned, vintage, or antique.
