Antique WINGS Shield BLOODSTONE Signet Ring 14k GOLD Wide Band Heraldic Crest

Awesome antique bloodstone signet ring with flat cut oval green bloodstone with nice speckling of russet red, bezel set into the beautiful 14k gold band with simple but sleek tapering shoulders. This was either a woman's or child's signet as it is a size 5.5, often times my signets are quite large in size - very fun to wear! The bloodstone is carved / engraved with a really neat family crest of a knight's helmet with wings on the top and a shield with small engraved flowers. European piece stamped with an old style 585 which is their numerical hallmarking system for 14k gold.

Also has a maker's mark. Antique box is not included. Will come in a new ring box. Size 5.5 Bloodstone measures 11mm by 10mm. All my pieces are preowned and in estate condition.

One nick / flea bite at about 5 o'clock visible to the eye when you look at the surface of the signet in a reflection. Along with some surface wear and scratches. One cloudy pinhead spot in the upper right corner which I believe is one of the red inclusions that has wear on the surface. Nice and sturdy shank still perfectly shaped with just some faint surface wear to the gold.
