This is an Estate Fresh old SCARCE FINE BIG ROUND DOMED FRANZ ANTON MEHLEM BONN GERMANY a ORCHID FLOWER DECORATED CHEESE or BUTTER BOX ca 1890's - 1920's. This is a really sweet looking old piece in a Green and white base color with the front decorated in beautiful painted colorful Orchids in Purple Pink & Gold. There are more Orchids decorating the sides and back and lid. Its in Perfect Wonderful condition and really looks awesome! Scarce because It stands 7" tall and is 8.5" diam at the base and perfect.

A real gem made by a High quality mfg back around the turn of the Century. Bonn Germany produced some really great stuff and this is one of the top producers. Finding these Big Round ones is really pretty tough. This company is one of the companys that produced the decoration for so many Porcelain Clocks back then Royal Bonn Ansonia and others.
