Victorian French Maltese Cross Pair Brooch Jeweled Tasseled Gilt Amazing

VICTORIAN FRENCH MALTESE CROSS PAIR BROOCH JEWELED TASSELED GILT AMAZING. I have owned this pair of brooches for many years. The are made of a heavy gilt metal. Not sure but it could be bronze. I suppose it is because they were hand made.

One is slightly larger then the other. The larger one is signed France. The other is not signed. The center stones are also slightly different colors. One picks up more purple and the other more pink.

The smaller has a fuller tassel. 9 chains and 7 in the larger piece.

The smaller one also has a shorted swirled green stone on its left side. Both have Victorian barrel slide clasps working well.

Including tassels the larger is 4 1/4" and the smaller is 4" long. Smaller is 2" across and larger is 2 1/4" across. I do not want to superset them.
